More children deserve the opportunity to develop skills and a lasting love of the game.  That's why we're launching the ALBION Hawaii League powered by MLSGO.  A recreational soccer league that will build lasting confidence and community through the sport of soccer.

Fall 2025 Season Details

  • ALBION Hawaii League, powered by MLSGO, offers inclusive recreational soccer opportunities for children 4-11 years old of all skill levels. 3v3 and 4v4 game model.
  • Spring 2025 Registration opens July 1st and closes July 31st, 2025. 
  • Opening day: Tuesday, August 12th 1st, 5:30 - 6:30 PM
    • This day will be used to distribute uniforms and host coaching education.
  • Games/League begins:​​​​​​ Friday, August 15th
  • Games/League ends: Friday, September 19th
  • The cost is $85 (Non-ALBION Club Player), $65 (ALBION Club Players), and includes an MLS team jersey, shorts, and socks.
  • Official MLSGO - Branded uniforms
  • 6 Games (Friday Evenings)
  • 6 Team Trainings (Before games)
  • Conveniently, training sessions are held before games, reinforcing skills and techniques before kick-off. This schedule compresses families' time commitment to one day per week.
  • A great field environment, perfect for practicing and playing matches.
  • Volunteer Coaches utilizing the MLSGO coaching curriculum.

FAQ

What is MLSGO? 

MLSGO is Major League Soccer’s recreational youth soccer program. Its mission is to create an inclusive and elevated experience for all participants.

Whether destined for the professional ranks or looking to get their first experience in the sport, MLSGO is the first step in the pathway where we invite all to learn fundamental soccer skills and develop a lasting love of the game.

By offering local communities a structured introductory soccer program with connections to a developmental pathway, we’re enabling greater access to the sport — seeking to remove any barriers to participating in the game we love.

Why MLSGO?

Join the excitement of Major League Soccer right in our Hawaii soccer community! Partnering with ALBION SC Hawaii, MLSGO offers inclusive soccer opportunities for children 4-10 years old of all skill levels, focusing on fun, teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

Who can join? Where are games played? 

ALBION Hawaii League, powered by MLSGO, welcomes all Hawaii youth soccer players ages 4-11 to embark on their soccer journey with us.

MLSGO are co-ed games at fields in Kahului, providing convenient access for families across Maui. 

What time will training and games be held? 

Training and games are on the same day to help families with schedule congestion. Training will be 30 minutes before game times.  Game lengths are (3) 12-minute periods to help younger players rest and have team huddles with the coach. The exact times and game dates will be shared during the registration process.

Can friends play together? 

The short answer is YES! Each team will consist of five players.  Games will be played with three players against three players (3v3), or four players against four players (4v4), and up to two substitutes, depending on the age group. During registration, you can add a list of players you want to play with, although the maximum number of players per team is five for 3v3 and six players for 4v4. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all friends will play together.

Who coaches the players? 

We ask for one volunteer parent per team to serve as a coach.  Don't worry if you have never coached soccer before.  ALBION Hawaii and MLSGO have a complimentary coaching training session and a coaching curriculum (PDF) before the season starts so that coaches feel more prepared.  ALBION Hawaii also has a great network of youth player-coaches who are looking to help coach our youngest superstars.

Do you know if financial aid is offered? 
You can apply for the MLSGO PLAY FUND, which offers financial assistance to MLSGO participants nationwide. The participant's parent or legal guardian must complete the application to be considered for the 2025 MLSGO PLAY FUND grant cycle. You can view and apply HERE.
